Y2E Founder, Brandi Webb
If you don't have a way, you make a way. Brandi Webb went from a young girl dreaming about acting to actually writing, directing and starring in plays and films. In 2005, a 19 year old Brandi Webb, made her first debut as playwright, producer and director for her very own off-Broadway stage play, "Yet to Evolve” in Times Square, NYC . The play caught a lot of attention and press and was covered on the Bronx 12 News. Due to the success of “Yet To Evolve,” Brandi launched a theatre company named after the play. She formed her new company, Yet 2 Evolve (Y2E) Productions as a Limited Liability Company. Material written and produced by Y2E and Brandi, tends to deal with family drama, integrity, and forgiveness and instills a moral lesson.
A mere 6 months later, Y2E produced its second play, “Love, Greed and the Pursuit of Happiness,” written by Adrienne Moultriez. The play was produced again in 2007. Later that year, Yet 2 Evolve productions launched an open mic for actors called, “So You Think You Can Act?.” The actors’ open mic ran for three months. In 2009, Brandi debuted her second written play, Sincere's Heart. The play was considered a favorite among fans leaving one spectator saying, "the writing and directing of this play was amazing!" Sometime later, Ms. Webb wrote and produced her first film, as a SAG New Media project also entitled Sincere's Heart. The movie is expected to be released in the near future.
